Bio by Michael Mecca
At 183cm (6'0"), this fine-featured ex-model with long auburn hair makes a striking presence on stage whether she is singing in front of a band or giving an intimate piano and voice performance backing herself on keys. Always classy, she nonetheless offers a risque ambiance that speaks of her reknown as a photographic and fasion model and as one of the most sought nude models in San Francisco during the early 2000's. Despite this, though, this opera-trained performer is known for her level of mastery with the voice and her soulfulness and accessibility.
Eleonor launched her jazz career with the first annual Black Valentine's Day show in San Francisco, CA. Since then she has
played such world-reknown venues as San Francisco's Elbo Room and various music festivals and events and have been featured on radio and television.
Eleonor's 3½ octave range and blues aesthetic has made her a favorite performer up and down
the coast and has garnered positive reviews from radio and print alike. Come see why Eleonor has
received so many critics choice awards for her live shows and received so many press accolades such as her
inclusion in Maximillien J De Lafayette's new book "Entertainment Divas, Cabaret, Jazz Then and Now: Including World's Who's Who of the Greatest Female Singers of All Time. America's Ultimate Divas. History, ... Spirituals from the 17th Century to Present"

Eleonor resides alternately in San Francisco, California and San Diego, California and is a regular performer in San Francisco, Los Angeles and San Diego. A cd is currently being produced by Shep Meyers in San Diego.
Eleonor also coaches artists on their stage shows and presentation.
In 2005, her students and clients opened for BB King,
shared the stage with blues legend Bobby Blue Bland, placed hits on charts including international jazz and pop charts and
in the USA on gospel and blues charts. Her students played in venues large and small from local blues festivals to
international jazz festivals. They appeared on MTV and were featured in print, radio and TV.
